Our Garforth Practice has had a face lift…

Some of you may have visited Garforth while we’ve been carrying out some much-needed TLC on our little practice. We’re almost there! And you’re more than welcome to visit us to have a look.

So far we’ve fitted a new floor throughout the practice, with the help of our expert flooring specialist Gary at Floors and Snores in Garforth, we selected a lovely muted wood effect LVT (Luxury vinyl tile) with an accent boarder – we’re really pleased with how its turned out.

The most noticeable change has been the paint work and our fabulous new sign, the original colour of the practice was a really dark brown wood, we wanted to freshen things up but keep with tradition. The dark green we’ve used has been a Moorhouse Opticians colour for years and teaming that with a sage colour makes the practice feel fresh without being too modern and clinical, we are after all over 100 years old and don’t want to alienate our lovely patients who like the old-fashioned feel and service.

The final part of our little re-vamp for now was some artwork on the windows in the shape of four pairs of gold spectacles, they’re striking to catch your eye without going too far out of our comfort zone! Thanks, The Wrap Pod for installing these, we love them.

Let us know what you think!? Should we make these changes to all our practices?

Do you think your local Moorhouse Opticians should be next? Feedback is always so important to us so get in touch!

There are a few more plans for the practice so keep your eyes peeled – and if you’re struggling to see them, give us a call and book in for an Eye Examination!
